Using her years of experience and her adept hands and tools, the pro is known for bringing out every bride’s best facial features for their walk down the aisle. In this aticle, Kashni reiterates, “Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and you want to look and feel your absolute best. Your bridal makeup will pull the look together,” she shares. “In the coming season, brides have a wide array of choices to achieve the dream look, from traditional and classic to minimal and vintage,” Kashni adds.
The Basics
For Kashni, the most important factor is to “ensure that your makeup complements your entire look harmoniously. If your wedding outfit is intricate or bold, opt for a makeup style that balances and enhances rather than competes with it. For example, if you have a richly detailed dress, consider a more subtle makeup look to avoid overwhelming the overall appearance. Conversely, if your outfit is simpler, you might choose a bolder makeup look to create a striking contrast.”
She also warns about blindly following trends for the sake of it. Explaining, “Brides should always focus on using makeup that truly suits them. The goal should be to enhance the overall look in a way that helps them express themselves authentically. Makeup should be a personal tool for self-expression, allowing each individual to highlight their unique features and preferences. By prioritising what complements their own style, skin type, and facial features, people can achieve a look that feels genuine and empowering.”

While she isn’t a big advocate of trends, Kashni predicts these as versatile beauty aesthetics that brides can bookmark for the upcoming wedding season.
Radiant Minimalism
‘The focus will be on a radiant, natural glow with minimalistic makeup. Expect to see a shift towards light, breathable foundations that enhance the skin’s natural texture rather than masking it. Highlighters will be subtle, aiming for a dewy, fresh-faced look.”
Vintage Romance
“One can expect a resurgence of vintage-inspired beauty, drawing from the elegance of past decades with a modern twist. This trend will combine classic styles with contemporary techniques to create timeless yet updated looks.”
Modern Monochrome
“The monochromatic makeup trend is making a strong comeback, where a single colour or shade is used across the eyes, cheeks, and lips. This trend brings a cohesive and harmonious look to bridal makeup.”
