He was raised Roman Catholic in California. She was leading business development at David Collins Studio in the United Kingdom, while he was a product management at Meta in the United States. Their lives were split between London and New York. Instead, the story turned out to be remarkably uncomplicated. Their families already shared a decades-long friendship. They met, talked and fell in love. When they eventually married, neither faith was folded into the other or treated as a compromise. At the sleepy village of Kumarakom, a Catholic blessing and a Hindu ceremony stood beside each other, each given its own space. Their wedding did not attempt to prove that two worlds could coexist.
