For every time a woman says she has been waiting for the “right” occasion to repeat her bridal jewellery, plans flip, trends change and that perfect event just never seems to come. You know the pieces I’m talking about. The ornate necklace that weighs more than her wedding lehenga did, the elaborate earrings that required actual support and the maang tikka worthy of royalty. Unfortunately, most of those stunning sets end up sitting in safety boxes.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee seems to have read the collective minds of women everywhere. “Children today don’t want their jewellery to just be stored in the lockers because they don’t want to emulate their parents. They want luxury consumption by wearing their pieces every day. They also want to be build their unique style identity,” he explains. It’s why in a landmark launch, the dream couturier introduces his first-ever digital jewellery boutique exclusively on Tata CLiQ Luxury.
Sabyasachi’s Legacy Goes Digital

On August 21, 2025, Sabyasachi’s fine jewellery collection launches exclusively on Tata CLiQ Luxury. “I always thought after I celebrate 25 years of the brand, I will create meaningful access. Now, I got a wonderful opportunity to work with Tata CLiQ Luxury. The Tatas and Birlas are business families that I deeply admire—they are the first families of nation builders in India,” he shares. What makes this different? This isn’t just another jewellery launch, but a complete reimagining of what fine jewellery can be. Think pieces crafted for everyday elegance. True to the Sabyasachi signature aesthetic, the collection blends heritage with modernity and integrity, but with a practical twist and truly ground-breaking prices.
The USP

The collection features a range of exquisite necklaces, earrings and rings for both, women and men. The genius of this range lies in its versatility. These are investment pieces a bride and her tribe can wear from the mehndi to Monday meetings. Take the Classic Ashrafi Necklace for instance. It features Sabyasachi’s signature Bengal Tiger insignia in 18-carat gold, but at a weight and design that won’t have you reaching for the Advil by cocktail hour. Or consider the Shalimar Necklace, which brings that iconic tiger motif with black lacquer highlights, perfect for everything from festival celebrations to fancy dinner dates.

But here’s where it gets really exciting for brides-to-be: the Imperial Tiger Mangalsutra priced. Finally, a mangalsutra that doesn’t look conventional or antiquated. Crafted with the Bengal Tiger motif and surrounded by faceted black spinel, cultured pearls and gold beads, this piece bridges the gap between tradition and contemporary style.
The Sabyasachi DNA

Don’t mistake “everyday wear” for compromised quality. Each piece in this collection maintains the same exacting standards as Sabyasachi’s high jewellery. We’re talking 18-carat gold, VVS-VS EF colour brilliant cut diamonds, natural pearls and precious gemstones across the board. The craftsmanship techniques remain unchanged: traditional Calcutta goldsmith methods passed down through generations, intricate hand-setting of stones and those signature micro-details that make Sabyasachi jewellery instantly recognisable.
With pieces starting from INR 55,000 (GPB 550 approximately), the collection offers an easy entry point into the Sabyasachi universe. As Sabyasachi himself puts it, “In India, we talk a lot about price, less often about value. I believe that when you give people integrity and excellence, they begin to see the difference. When the jewellery is launched with the price break-up and details, you’ll know that the jewellery is priced better than most of the biggest brands in the country.” And isn’t that exactly what modern brides want? Jewellery that represents real value, not just hefty price tags. Pieces that will actually appreciate over time, while being beautiful enough to wear regularly.
The Value Add

Perhaps the most promising aspect of this launch is the accessibility. By partnering with Tata CLiQ Luxury, Sabyasachi is making his jewellery available to women across India, including those in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, as well as patrons across the world. “The flagship store in Mumbai has been declared as one of the seven best in the world. While it is an honour for India, several humble people, like my family, would probably feel a bit intimated to come to a store like Sabyasachi’s. But now, they can shop our jewellery from the comfort of their homes.” The platform also promises personalised shopping experiences with knowledgeable experts. Basically, it will be like having a jewellery consultant help you choose pieces that will work with your lifestyle and taste.
Whether you’re a bride planning ahead or a woman ready to build a jewellery wardrobe that works as hard as you do, this collection offers that rare combination of exceptional quality with thoughtful pricing.
