From heirloom classics to modernist designs, Maala London’s semi-precious jewellery pieces are tailor-made to a bride’s personality. Their London-based label uses traditional methods, handcrafted artistry and expert workmanship to create pieces of grandeur. But the founder and chief designer, Kindo’s journey in the industry was a serendipitous one. “Before I started Maala London, I had a fashion and design boutique in Birmingham. After moving to London, I started designing jewellery for myself,” recalls Kindo. Receiving constant compliments and requests from family and friends to design jewellery for them encouraged Kindo to start her own label. “I started doing this from my room and then moved to Instagram.” It wasn’t too long before Maala London became one of the most sought-after semi-precious jewellery houses in the UK. “The brides I usually work with are high-end ones, who wear Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani and Manish Malhotra. So, they are looking for befitting pieces that look stunning and are of the highest quality. I take pride when people see my jewellery and they instantly know it’s a Maala London piece.”

Spearheaded by Malkit and Nisha Dadi since its inception in 1991, Kyles Collection has been creating high-quality artificial jewellery on the pillars of innovation, impeccable craft and exquisite design. For over three decades, the UK-based label has enthralled local and international brides not just with its unique masterpieces but also its personalized service and custom creations. “We strived to provide outstanding customer service along with high quality items made with true passion and commitment. It’s why we get so many amazing messages from brides all over the world. We find out what style the bride wants and then create pieces to complement her look, whether she needs something simple or elaborate,” reveal the founders. Creativity serves as the bedrock for the duo, earning them celebrity clientele as well. Today, Kyles Collection’s footprint extends to over 12 stockists all over the world, where “women can go and show their outfits to get something custom designed in keeping with their budgets,” they add.

Aurora’s Collection goodwill precedes its brand name. Sonal Pandya established the jewellery store in 2016 to celebrate heritage, style and innovation through her designs. Cut to 2023, the label’s collections continue to remain true to this forward-thinking approach to jewellery, earning hundreds of loyal brides and clients across the world. Sonal shares, “I've always loved doing jewellery so I talked myself into setting up my jewellery business. It's been quite a journey.” In 2021, Sonal revamped the brand to become the UK’s first multi-brand South Asian jewellery store, a one-stop answer to brides looking for semi-precious wedding jewellery. Today, Aurora’s collection houses renowned brands like Anita Dongre and Outhouse offering a wide range of options for their brides to choose from.

Anees Malik is a jewellery designer based in Birmingham, we operate by an appointment only basis from our studio. We specialise in pakistani polki, American diamond and kundan jewellery pieces. We offer a bespoke custom services including sketches, production pictures for bespoke orders. Anees Malik has been established for over 12 years and has done many international shows and editorials.
